Welcome to Shapley

Welcome to the Summer Term 2022. We hope you enjoy looking at our class page where we will update you with our learning for this term and share some photos to show off our fantastic learning!

We are a class of  mixed  year three and  four pupils. Our learning this term is based around the  big question:

'Is there really no place like home?

During the first half of the  term, we will be focusing on developing our  geography skills using our wonderful local area to get out and about with a particular focus on mapping. We will then move on to develop our skills as historians by finding out about how Moretonhampstead has changed over time. We are hoping to interview some local residents of Moretonhampstead to help us learn so please do get in touch if you can help.

Please see below for our topic map which will give you more detail about out learning in each subject.

Our  class teacher is Mrs Edgington who is supported by Mrs Mackley, our fantastic teaching assistant. We  enjoy PE with our specialist sports teacher Mr Pierce on Tuesdays and also have PE on a Thursday. Our PE themes for this term are ultimate frisbee  and striking and fielding games such as rounders.  Please do make sure that that your child's kit is in school on those days and keep an eye on the weather in case sun cream needs to be applied.

Thank you for visiting our class page. We hope you find all the information you need but please do pop in or send an email via the school office if you have any additional questions.
